Class 86 HUNTER BROOD MARE, with own foal at foot. All foals to be at least 3 weeks old at date of show.
TROPHY H29:The Robertson-Aikman Challenge Cup presented by the late Major H.H. Robertson-Aikman for the best mare to breed hunters and foal likely to make a good hunter.The foal must have been bred by the exhibitor. Equal points will be given for Mare and Foal the property of a bona fide farmer or occupier of land within the Quorn,Fernie, Belvoir, Cottesmore, Atherstone and Pytchley Hunts. The Cup to be held for one year only. Those eligible to wear a blue armband during judging.
PREMIUM: Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain offer one Premium of  in Class 86. ThePremium will be awarded at the Judge’s discretion to any Mare gaining a Prize in this Class. It will take the form of a Service Voucher to be used towards the Service of the mare by any S.H.B.(G.B). Graded Stallion or Life Approved Premium Stallion in 2002/2003. The owner must be or become a fully paid-up member. No mare shall take more than one award per year.
Class 87    HUNTER FOAL, colt, gelding or filly, foaled in 2001. This progeny must be from a mare in class 86
TROPHY H30: The Louis Masserella Cup is kindly offered for the best foal sired by a stallion from Louella Stud, handler to wear a red armband during judging.
Class 89 HUNTER FILLY OR GELDING,2 years old, foaled in 1999.
Class 90 HUNTER FILLY OR GELDING, 3 year old, foaled in 1998.
CHAMPIONSHIP: 1st and 2nd prize winners from all the above classes eligible. Those eligible who do not take part may forfeit their prize money.

Classes 88 – 90 are qualifying classes for the 2001 R.I.H.S. The first 4 horses in each class will qualify.
SPECIAL: AWARDS FOR WELSH PART-BRED HORSES IN THE HUNTERS IN-HAND SECTION Rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed (i.e. prize-winning) animal registered in the WPCS stud book. (i.e. Over 148 cms at maturity / minimum 25% Registered Welsh Blood). Rosettes will be forwarded after the Show. Please note animals can be retrospectively registered to qualify.
